'In Sync With Life' is the initiative of Ginny Patterson offering mindfulness courses and retreats across different locations in the UK and from her base in Northamptonshire. Ginny is a certified Mindfulness teacher trained by Mindfulness CIC. 

Dates for courses and retreats are detailed at the bottom of this page. 

  • MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) 8 week course 
  • 2 full day course plus a further retreat day for the general public
  • 1 & 2 day courses for corporate organisations

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by focusing awareness on the present moment. In everyday life, mindfulness is about learning to direct our attention to our experience as it unfolds, rather than being ruled by our thoughts. Stress and strain of life can result in us feeling caught up in a constant stream of thoughts, feelings and emotions, reflecting on past issues and/or feeling overwhelmed by future worry and anxieties. Mindfulness aims to achieve a relaxed, non-judgemental awareness of thoughts, feelings and sensations. Mindfulness can help us to understand ourselves better, enjoy life more and achieve a sense of wellbeing.

Learning Mindfulness with engagement of horses you will discover the techniques of Mindfulness practice to rebuild self-confidence, awareness, reduce stress & anxiety, improve performance, working with acceptance, kindness and compassion to build a deeper connection with horses.

A deposit will be required per course to secure your booking. Please note places cannot be reserved without receipt of a deposit. Any remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the course date. If you need to cancel your course you will be able to transfer to another course. Cancellations received less than 5 days before the course start date are liable to a 50% cancellation fee.
